The Sugar Tax tour (stylised to Sugartax Tour) was an OMD headlining tour to promote the release of the studio album Sugar Tax. It was the first tour for OMD for over three years and the first to be undertaken by Andy McCluskey without Paul Humphreys (with whom he had been playing live since 1978) or Martin Cooper and Malcolm Holmes, and consequently the first with new members Coxon, Ipinson and Juckes.
The tour began in the UK in July (coinciding with the release of Pandora's Box as a single), moving into Europe during the summer, in Germany as support to Simple Minds, and then to North America headlining again from mid-September, returning to the UK in October and back to Europe, as headliners, in November.
