Stuart Kershaw (b.?) is a British songwriter and musician and is the current drummer for Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. He began working with the group, effectively Andy McCluskey, in the late 1980s, after the original group split up, and contributed to the writing of some tracks on the Sugar Tax album (1991), as well as playing drums. Most notably he was co-author of the UK hit Sailing on the Seven Seas. He was unable to play on the tour due to commitments with hi own band Raw Unltd., managed by Hambi Haralambous, and also featuring Lloyd Massett and Nathalie Loates. He did however play on the Liberator tour in 1993.
He replaced Malcolm Holmes full time in 2015 after Holmes had suffered health issues, and continues to write record and play live with the group to the present day.
Kershaw also worked with McCluskey to form the all-girl group Atomic Kitten, co-writing their No.1 hit Whole Again, among other tracks. The pair also produced the Kittens' debut album Right Now (2001) under the collective name of Engine.
As well as the drums and percussion, Stuart also plays guitar, piano and keyboards. He is married to Joanne and the couple have two children.
