Crush tour - OMD headlining promotional tour of fifth studio album Crush (1985).
The tour began in the UK in June 1985, just prior to the actual release of Crush, continuing into Europe and then to North America in July. From 19 July OMD joined The Power Station as support until late August. Still in the US, OMD resumed the Crush headlining tour in September. Scheduled October dates in Germany were cancelled, as were UK dates scheduled for November, with the band resuming live dates in NA as The Thompson Twins support ending in January 1986. Postponed UK dates resumed in February 1986, ending with two dates at London Hammersmith Odeon, and a gruelling eight months almost constantly on tour.
The Factory Records Manchester gig in July 1986 was reportedly AM & PH only.
